One final vote: Tell the Senate to renew the OAA!

I have read and agree with the privacy policy.

For fifty years, the Older Americans Act has helped millions of seniors stay at home and in their own communities, closer to their friends and families.

But since the OAA expired in 2011, funding for its vital programs has been chipped away — the opposite of what needs to happen in the face of our Elder Boom.

After hearing from more than 5,000 Caring Across members like you, the Senate passed a bill renewing the OAA last year. Now the House has done its job, sending the bill back with a few changes that will improve services for seniors and caregivers.

We need just one final vote. Can we count on your support? Use the form on this page to sign, and we'll add your name to the petition below:

Dear Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell —

For fifty years, the Older Americans Act has helped millions of seniors stay at home and in their own communities, closer to their friends and families.

The House just sent back ammended language authorizing the renewal of the OAA. It's vital that the Senate act as quickly as possible to approve the House version of the bill.

Please schedule a vote and approve the Older Americans Act soon.

Thank you.
