Joe and Phyllis aren't the only ones who have had to make tough decisions as they got older. So many families have to sacrifice and make tough choices to care for their aging loved ones. More than 10,000 Americans turn 65 every day, but we have no national plan to support caregiving families.
We don't have to accept this patchwork system. The solutions are out there, and we just have to demand them.
Caring Across Generations is building a movement to transform caregiving in America. Families need more support, caregivers need better care jobs, and ALL people should be able to age with independence and dignity while connected to the places and people they love.
We are working to pass state and federal policies to make things easier for families — including the nation's first state social insurance program for long-term care! Use the form above to get involved.
